Middle School
Grades 6-8

The middle school at Saint Pius X School is designed to inspire and motivate students to acquire the skills they need to succeed in high school, college, and beyond.

Our middle school schedule utilizes longer class periods, enabling teachers the ability for extended, interactive lessons such as hands-on Science Labs and advanced Literature assignments. Each student is assigned their own locker and utilizes a personal ChromeBook. Courses include Religion, Language Arts, Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language, Music, Gym and Art.

Specifically, our Math, Science and Literature curriculums adhere to the New Jersey Common Core standards and provide a foundation for learning the pace, depth, and high level thinking necessary for success in honors and advanced levels in high school. We also offer advanced workload to students who demonstrate excelled proficiency. Our dedicated middle team of faculty strives to integrate the latest textbook materials with the latest hands-on learning tools including utilization of our new, innovative Science Lab, Google Classroom and more.

Our middle school students achieve above and beyond the state standards for educational excellence and have been accepted to some of the most prestigious private high schools in the area including: Delbarton, Seton Hall Prep, Saint Peters Prep, Villa Walsh, Mount Saint Dominic Academy, Gilles Saint Bernard, DePaul, Morris Catholic, Morris Knolls International Baccaleurate, and more.
